Julian meetings
Julian Meetings are held monthly on the first Monday at The Rectory commencing at 7.30pm. The meetings start with a short introduction followed by a piece of music which leads into about 30 minutes of silent contemplative prayer and ending with another piece of music.
Malpas Mothers Union
Malpas Mothers’ Union has just commemorated 75 years of activity in Malpas.Over the years there has been a strong membership (giving long years of service and support) working steadily to spread the work of the MU in prayer, fellowship and fundraising.
Ozzie’s Sunday Club
Ozzie’s Club is a vibrant group of people who have been working, together with Canon Ian Davenport, to create an environment which will help encourage and teach children about Christianity in a very relaxed, fun and engaging way. Ages currently range from 6 months to 5 years.
Bell Ringers
The earliest reference to church bells at St Oswald’s can be found in the arrangements made by Randle Brereton III in 1522 for his funeral.
